What is the dress code?

For the wedding, we’re going for an elegant, candlelit vibe. Think long dresses, linen or tailored suits, and colors that glow under candlelight, warm neutrals, muted blues, deep greens, and earthy tones. For the welcome party, aim for chic casual, you’ll be on the beach, so feel free to have fun with it.

When should I plan to arrive, and what’s the closest airport?

We’d suggest arriving by Thursday/Friday mornign so you can join the welcome party on Friday. The closest airport is Ixtapa-Zihuatanejo International Airport (ZIH), about 20 minutes from the main hotels.

Will there be transportation arranged for guests?

Yes! We’ll have shuttles from the Thompson for the wedding and for Thursday’s “his and hers” activities. The welcome party is just a 2-minute walk down the beach from the Thompson, so we won’t have shuttles for that one.

Are there any accommodation recommendations?

We’ve listed hotel and villa recommendations in the Where to Stay section of the website, including some discounts we’ve arranged.

Can I bring my kids?

We love your little ones, but we’re planning an adults only weekend. Thanks so much for understanding, we can’t wait to celebrate together.

What are the preferences for gifts?

We honestly have everything we need, your presence is the best gift. But if you’d like to give something, we’ve shared a few ideas and a honeymoon fund link on the Gifts page.
